Special Projects to Support
The village of Mahabo in Southern Madagascar is home to nearly 200 artisans that are currently working to build themselves and their families out of poverty through their work with The Blessing Basket Project.
Currently, this region of Madagascar is experiencing wide-spread drought, and our current poverty eliminating efforts are just not enough. This year’s rice harvest has been completely lost to drought. Rice is the main source of nourishment for these people, and without it, children are already starving. Water is a scarce commodity at the moment and there are long lines from sun up to sun down to obtain this life-sustaining resource.
A $50 donation will feed 25 families for 1 day.
All donations are tax-deductible and 100% of your donation will go directly to those harmed by this life-threatening drought.
Education Empowerment Fund
In the countries we serve education equals Empowerment for young girls. While buying Blessing Basket products ensures many of the girls are able to attend school – it doesn’t mean they are fully equipped. Many girls need extra funding for school uniforms, supplies, tuition, and even bikes for the 5 km hike to school. If you choose this project 100% of your donation will be distributed to various schools in the villages we serve to help offset additional education expenses for girls who need extra support.

Just like your home office or business, it takes office supplies to keep things running smoothly at The Blessing Basket Project. As a result we are in continual need of office supplies, computers, cameras and the like not only for our domestic operations, but also for our international operations. 100% of your general operation donation will be used to help offset the business cost of running the organization and enable us to return more money to those we serve.
